Microsoft hat – wie berichtet – eine neue Open Beta für das Sim Update 14 veröffentlicht. Version 1.35.19.0 entfernt bei Betatestern den bereits veröffentlichten iniBuilds Airbus A320neo (v2) aus dem Flugzeugauswahlmenü. Begründet wird dies damit, dass es vor allem auf Konsolen zu vermehrten Abstürzen gekommen sei. Im Flight Simulator Forum wird diese Entscheidung von zahlreichen Xbox Series X/S Besitzern bedauert, zumal sie damit weiterhin auf einen systemtieferen A320 auf ihren Konsolen verzichten müssen. Einen nur kleinen Trost dürfte die stattdessen ausgerollte Cirrus SR22 spenden. Das komplett neue Modell SR22T G6 wurde von Working Title erstellt und verfügt u. a. über eine benutzerdefinierte Motorsimulation, realistische Leistungsdaten etc.
Entfernt wurde in v1.35.19.0 auch ein lästiger Bug, der beim Neustart des MSFS dazu führte, dass alle Unterstützungsoptionen jedes Mal auf „Einfach“ zurückgesetzt wurden und neuerlich konfiguriert werden mussten.
Offiziell erscheinen soll Sim Update 14 am 5. Dezember 2023.
