Das lange Warten ist vorbei. Just Flight hat seine F28 Professional für den Microsoft Flight Simulator veröffentlicht. Das Flugzeug ist ab sofort im Online-Store der Briten zum Preis 64,95 Euro erhältlich.

Die Fokker F28 ist ein Kurzstrecken-Verkehrsflugzeug, das in den 1960er Jahren entwickelt und 1969 zugelassen wurde. Vom Tiefdecker mit zwei am Heck angebrachten Rolls-Royce Spey-Triebwerken wurden bis 1987 insgesamt 241 Exemplare gebaut. Das von Just Flight umgesetzte Flugzeug verfügt über komplexe, individuell codierte Systeme, die auf realen FCOMs basieren, einschließlich hydraulische, elektrische, Treibstoff- und Pressurisation Systeme.

Im Cockpit sind die Positionen Kapitän, Co-Pilot und Notsitz nachgebildet, wobei jeder Schalter, Knopf und Hebel animiert und funktionsfähig ist.

Enthalten ist auch ein Tablet (EFB – Electronic Flight Bag – Elektronische Flugtasche) mit unzähligen Funktionen, u. a. SimBrief- und Navigraph-Unterstützung.

Passagierkabine und Bordküche sind sehr detailliert umgesetzt und umfassen vollständig interaktive Bedienelemente für Türbetätigung, Kabinenbeleuchtung, Kabinen-Ansagen und akustische Zeichen (Chimes), Kabinentemperatur und sogar ein Musiksystem!

Air-conditioning, bleed air supply and pressurisation systems

  • Automatic and manual flight deck and cabin temperature control – takes account of ambient temperature, air supply from the engines and/or APU, fresh or recirculated air and even whether the doors are open!
  • Automatic and manual pressurisation modes with control of outflow valves, barometric and cabin rate settings, indications and cabin altitude warnings
  • Cabin altitude and differential values based on real-world data
  • Simulated emergency cabin depressurisation procedures
